This Privacy Policy describes how FreelancerAutoBid (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, customer dashboard, APIs, and FreelancerAutoBid in Google Chrome (together, the Service). By using the Service, you agree to this policy alongside our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.

FreelancerAutoBid provides a subscription-based software platform that helps users prepare and manage bids on third-party freelance marketplaces. We operate the Service and act as the data controller for personal data processed through accounts you create with us and through your use of FreelancerAutoBid and the dashboard.

Account and profile. When you register or sign in (including with email and password or third-party sign-in such as Google), we collect identifiers such as your name, email address, and authentication data. You may provide additional profile information (for example, display name or address fields where we ask for them for a stated purpose).

Subscription and billing. Paid plans are processed by our payment provider (e.g. Razorpay). We receive billing-related records such as subscription status, plan, transaction references, and limited payment metadata—not full payment card numbers, which are handled by the payment provider under their own privacy terms.

FreelancerAutoBid and API usage. When you use FreelancerAutoBid, we process data needed to authenticate and operate the product, such as access tokens, device or installation identifiers, FreelancerAutoBid version, and technical logs associated with API calls (for example bootstrap, configuration sync, proposal requests, bid logging, and heartbeat-style health checks as implemented in our product).

Content you submit for AI features. To generate proposals and related outputs, our servers process project-related text and parameters you submit (such as project titles, descriptions, skills, and budget information) and send portions of that content to our AI subprocessors (model providers we configure) solely to fulfill the feature you requested.

Activity, bids, and analytics in the product. We store information you choose to save in the Service (for example bid history, generated proposals, and activity or usage events) to provide dashboards, history, and support.

Communications. If you contact us or receive emails from us (welcome, billing, security, product updates), we process your contact details and message content as needed to respond and deliver those messages.

Technical and usage data. We collect standard technical data such as IP address, user agent, approximate location derived from IP, and diagnostic data. We use error and performance tools (such as Sentry) to maintain reliability. Where we enable Google Analyticson our marketing site or dashboard, Google may collect identifiers and usage data under Google's policies; see our Cookie Policy for more detail and choices.

• Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service
• Authenticate users and manage sessions (including FreelancerAutoBid session tokens where applicable)
• Process subscriptions, invoices, trials, and discounts
• Generate AI-assisted proposals and related features you request
• Send transactional and service emails and respond to support requests
• Detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents; enforce our Terms of Service
• Comply with legal obligations and defend our legal rights
• Analyze aggregate or de-identified usage to improve the product and marketing (including via analytics tools where enabled)

Where applicable privacy law requires a “legal basis”, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for); legitimate interests (security, product improvement, analytics in line with this policy, and proportionate marketing); consent where we ask for it (for example non-essential cookies or certain emails, where required); and legal obligation where the law requires us to process data.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed with:

• Infrastructure and hosting (e.g. Vercel or comparable providers) that host our application and assets
• Payment processors (e.g. Razorpay) for billing
• AI providers we engage to perform proposal generation and related AI features you trigger
• Authentication providers (e.g. Google) when you choose Google sign-in
• Email delivery (SMTP or transactional email services)
• Analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) when enabled, subject to your cookie choices where applicable
• Error monitoring (e.g. Sentry)
• Professional advisers, regulators, or law enforcement when required by law or to protect rights and safety

We may process and store data in countries other than your own (including where our providers are located). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms in addition to technical and organizational measures.

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, and as required by law (for example tax or accounting records). You may request deletion of your account subject to legal exceptions; some anonymized or aggregated data may be retained.

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit where appropriate, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us using the details below. You can manage many account details from your dashboard when signed in.

The Service is not directed at children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example by email or in-product notice).
