Powerful freelancer auto-bidding tool features.
FreelancerAutoBid covers the full bidding loop: screening projects before a bid fires, writing proposals that fit each brief, and handling the admin work (clarification posts, NDA signing) that most freelancers skip. Here's what's actually under the hood.
AI Proposal Generation
Proposals are written from each project brief, not from a template. You control the tone (professional, casual, friendly, or formal) and the word count ceiling. Edit the system prompt directly to shape voice, structure, and what to emphasise. The same AI stack handles project-relevance scoring and milestone structures for fixed-price bids, and both prompts are yours to override.
AI Project Screening
Every new Freelancer.com listing gets an AI relevance score before FreelancerAutoBid touches it. That score weighs skill match, brief specificity, and your custom screening prompt. Bids only fire when a project clears your threshold. We set a default that's worked well across our user base, but you can tighten it if your niche is narrow.
Clarification-Board Auto-Post
FreelancerAutoBid generates and posts a clarification-board question on each project, signalling engagement before the client shortlists. The clarification prompt is yours to edit so questions fit your tone. Toggle it on or off per your strategy. From our support data, roughly 18% of early user questions were about this feature, which is why it shipped second in the beta.
Auto-Sign NDA & IP Agreements
Many high-value Freelancer.com projects gate bidding behind NDA or IP agreements. FreelancerAutoBid completes both automatically using the legal name and signing address you've set in your profile. The NDA and IP toggles are independent, so you can turn either on without the other. Worth noting: without this, those projects are simply invisible to most auto bidders.
Project Filters: Listing Type, Budget, Skills, Keywords, Countries
Listing types, budget ranges, skills, keywords, countries, project age — you control all of it. Bid only on the types you accept: featured, sealed, NDA, urgent, recruiter, IP agreement, premium, enterprise, PF only, or non-compete. Set hourly and fixed-price budget floors and ceilings. Target specific Freelancer.com skills. Block keywords, disable countries, and cap project age so stale listings don't get a bid.
Client Quality Filters
Bid quota is finite. FreelancerAutoBid lets you skip clients who don't meet your standards before a bid fires. Require any mix of these signals: identity verified, payment-method verified, deposit made, email verified, profile completed, phone verified, custom charge verified, freelancer verified. You can also set a minimum overall client rating and per-category floors for clarity of spec, communication, payment promptness, professionalism, and work-for-again.
Pacing, Limits & Bid Amount
Set delay between bids in seconds, a daily cap, and an active-hours window. If a project already has more bids than your configured ceiling, FreelancerAutoBid skips it rather than piling on. Bid amount comes from a formula you write: (min + max) / 2 bids the midpoint, min + (max - min) * 0.7 bids above it. We chose formula-based pricing because fixed amounts don't adapt to budget variance across project categories.
Bid History & Analytics Dashboard
Every bid is logged with project URL, amount, status, generated proposal, and clarification question. The analytics view breaks down win rate, spend by category, country performance, listing-type results, and proposal-tone effectiveness. You can filter and sort the full bid history, and export it to CSV if you want to dig in further.
Cross-Device Settings Sync
Settings, prompts, filters, and your active-hours window sync to the FreelancerAutoBid dashboard. Update a filter from your laptop and the extension picks it up the next time it polls — no manual export or copy-paste between devices.
